Any thoughts on whether former Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill's book will have/not have serious campaign effects (namely revelations that the Iraq war was under planning prior to 9/11)?
Or his personality descriptions of the president close-up, echoed in the following:
Another way of looking at it: If we were concerned enough to be planning anyway, should we have pre-empted a bit earlier and spared ourselves 9/11 entirely?
Note O'Neill is being brushed off by people in the administration, but he's not (presumably) a democrat and not all former secretaries write books. Also he is supposed to have a bazillion backup documents to go along with his claims.
