You nailed it, Fa. The definitions have changed.

They mostly teach statist Keynesian Econ now, which advocates gov't interference as the means to a healthy economy, rather than "free enterprise" (which, as you mention, used to mean small business and such, but now means "You didn't build that!").

"Capitalism" now means corporate tyranny rather than free market, and is associated with "One Percenters" and such. "Libertarian" means selfish, mean folks who want other folks to starve and such, rather than advocates of liberty and self-reliance. And so on.

I think it all started in the 70s when the 60s flower children started becoming parents.

btw, I realize you're not by any means a "pure libertarian". Nevertheless, I'm proud of your posts. These days I much appreciate even you libertarian leaners. There seem to be fewer and fewer of our ilk left, with respect to the general population.
