Well I have to say, the printed version of the newspaper I checked today did have more variety, but there were far less total ads, just a couple of pages. I wouldn't mind doing some kid tutoring, and sent in a resume to a Craig's list contact looking for people, but just know that's going to be super-tsunami'd with folks, as all it takes is general education and (some) maturity to qualify.

"(the mortgage biz) has thrown something like half a million officeworlders out of work over the past couple of years."

And can we just imagine what clerical talents the health care biz will let loose if it was ever governmentalized? Sheesh, I hate paying paper-pushers currently added to health care, but that would be another people soaker squeezeout! Last time I was in a dr's office, I watched the technical helper-people coming to the door that admits patients from lobby to inner hallways, and I swear there must have been 20-30 of them hidden back in there, a new one with each patient, and still more you saw passing down the corridors. So I guess getting training beyond receptionist level does and will pay off.
