Great. I am old enough to remember when America had two distinct partiesl We had the Democrats who wanted more programs for the people and the Republicans who wanted more opportunities for the people without government guidance.

Democrats wanted more taxes for more programs and the Republicans want less taxes for the people to have the money to develop their own programs.

The Democrats want less authority given to the States and the Republicans wanted more which would release the Federal government from growing beyond the Constitution.

The 10th Amendment is a strong set of laws to allow the people of America to live under the State of their choice.

What we have today is simply 2 Democratic parties. The Republicans have been taken over by the religious right and have given up on their platform of lesser government and more individual rights.

Damnit! I want those individual rights returned! All this social and religious bullshit coming out of the Bush Administration is not only illegal but insulting! The religious right has become so brainwashed that they feel the federal government should now contain all the sins in the bible and prohibit them one at a time.

The pressure to make America into a Christian Nation has immediately put the rest of us as second class citizens. The pressure to prohibit abortions will certainly put thousands of women in federal prison (where according to Ashcroft is where they belong). Now we have the same sex marriages taking the number one priority in the 2004 election. Another level of our culture will be castigated and denied the same rights as the rest of us.

This seems to follow the whole Christian concept of arrogance and denial and that anything else is a lie! Where the hell do these people come off taking over our government?

Every country in the world that was taken over by Christians ended up in many different Inquisitions where thousands of people were burned at the stake or simply murdered. This seems to be the way Christians operate starting with the Crusades.

For Bush to do this to America is the ultimate insult to our country. Personally I liked the two party system where all levels of our house and senate had the ability cut stop or cut back on many of the current President's programs. It worked for years but came to a roaring halt after the first Bush entered the government. Will we ever learn?

Since Bush became the leader of a party who wanted more and more government, the Democrats have gone even further to the left. I'm a Libertarian and find both parties offensive to my concept of freedom! However, I feel Bush has put every American in jeopardy with his born again status that simply was a red flag in the face of the bullish AlQaeda. He is not a leader he is a Missionary!
