I will tell you what I have heard first hand from a soldier who is over in Iraq in the whole mess. I asked him how the people over there liked them. He told me that they love the Americans. There is only a small few who are killing our American soldiers. He has also told me that everyone was dancing in the streets when we got the Hussien brothers. He has traveled all over Iraq and says that the small pockets of resistance are not the majority. I will take his word over any of the media, or even ----. I assure you all that we are welcome there by the majority of Iraqi citizens.

I don't think anyone thinks that they don't love Americans.. but there are some that see them as a threat... The idea that those frightened sheep herders that fire on American Soldiers are terrorists is pure Bull...

President Bush has all but said so...

So Yea you can take his word for it .. and I am sure he is right.. Because he is not dead yet.. ask the dead soldier if they danced and praised Americans when they came through.. It's war.. not a Hallmark card.

I didn't mean to make it sound like I thought that the war was like a halmark card at all. I know it is not picture perfect the way the media presents it. In fact if we aren't out of there soon, I think things will get much worse. I belive that the popularity of our troops over there will dimish to the point where more Iraqi citizens will take up arms. So I guess I misunderstood you. It seems we are in agreement on the topic. I hope all of our troops come home soon. But I know that, that is not on the agenda of our government. We want Iraq for a staging ground to attack its nieghbors. This is just the begining. Or could it be the begining of the end?
