It really does not matter what the information portends; this is a BIG ELECTION year and almost anything said by one set of candidates against the other set of candidates is automatically suspect. After all, they are politicians and they have got to say something or they can no longer be politicians (there must be a natural law to that effect somewhere). Gebhardt, probably a good man within his limits, is saying what he thinks will smooze his way into the Publiks well-known three minute attention span and possibly gain him two/three more points in somebody's current political poll.

I still maintain that the President's major accomplishment since entering the office is his active part in "SCARING THE SHIT" out of a group of Tyrants in the Middle-East; Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and of course, Libya. It is the old joke about the stubborn mule that will not see reason and do any work until you get his attention by hitting him between the eyes with a two by four. I do believe we now have their attention.

Remember, if you have forgotten, that the fourth largest army in the world, fighting on its home ground with good equipment and supplies, was beaten within three weeks with no problem and practically no USA or BRIT casualties. THIS very unexpected event, was an eye-opener for a whole host of interested observers, not least of which were the Russians. In closing, there are only two of the Democrats I see as viable (I have been waiting all morning for a chance to use that word) Candidates and whether or not either can be elected is up to the Publick next November.
