Personally, I have no time for discussions regarding these near-death experiences, but that's me!

All I care to add here is this: Isn't the human body magnificent! What a wonderful way it has about making the most traumatic experience - the human's entry into an everlasting non-existence - a peaceful, soothing thing!

Our brain seems programmed to disappear in peace and hope and happiness! I'm so grateful for this in-built, comfortable exit. Believers and unbelievers alike are all satisfied by the effect of this phenomenen. Believers go out believing, and non-believers go out thinking that maybe that there *is* "another existence".

Unfortunately, some of us might be heavily sedated (e.g., on a hospital bed) when we die, and others are killed instantly without ever knowing death was knocking.

Either way, it's a non-traumatic thing.
