Well, B, I NEVER posited the pre-existence of souls, just the pre-existence of God's desire. You leap from my argument about this to what happens with people once they are born, but as always, that is a matter of human choice. I suppose one could speculate that a lot of things go wrong because people God had intended were NOT born and people God never intended were. However, I don't get that indication in Scripture.
The reason for my explanation about seeking the mindset of God is that I think it should be done, but that sometimes, as with my beliefs here, there is no lock-down Scripture to prove my point. In such cases, I will gladly debat someone on the issue and even try to show them I'm right, but I cannot make it a point of division. However, I CAN prove Scripturally that abortion (and thus, abortifacient birth control methods) are evil because they violate the law against the shedding of innocent blood. In that case, ther would be a division.
