good one.

in the old days, with wealth you could live as you chose to... true

nowadays, anybody can... i disagree here. i have been held back so many times in my life because i havent had the funding to do what i want. this is one way the government keeps us 'working class (all we are to them)' in order, is by keeping us poor enough that we cant really do what we want to, but we have to keep working/buying/investing, like they want us to.

innovation, yes, capitalism has allowed us to progress (materially) at a fucking unheard of rate. we have so much technology now, its not even funny.

but happiness... ahh!!! if i made you rich, in a year you would be unhappy, craving something more. money does not buy happiness, it is a well known fact. this is because................... happiness does not come from material things, well only for very short periods of time..

"Without innovation we are doomed to live in a world demolished by capatilism but, without capatilism, innovation will not occur. An ugly cycle, but the only way to break it is to ride it to its conclusion."

haha!!! i loved this part. a good summary of what everything is like. in this creation, extreme A will always push against extreme B... always, until the conclusion.

i.... cannot find the words here, but the paragraph i quoted relates to fucken everything. on every level.
