One is that your source says Protestantism has "the idea of "buying" your salvation," which is precisely NOT what it says.

Two is that the person seems to suggest that most of Europe was peopled by people from the mideast subsequent to the loss of the 10 "missing" tribes...which would mean they entered a fairly empty continent at an incredibly late date to be able to explain all the remains and evidence other pre-Roman waves (Celts, Germans, Slavs, Scandinavians) not to mention still earlier people like Picts, Etruscans, Greeks (remember Trojan war?) etc. who were already there, even if you have some way to "explain away" cro-magnon remains. In fact, caucasian-looking people lived along the silk road on the western edges of China at one time, and the Jews were never the main or only mid-eastern people either (Persians didn't disappear when they freed the Jews)...why not speculate that Phoenecians populated Europe?

Sooner or later DNA testing will sort it out, but I'd hate to place my religion on the wrong betting end of that northern European tribes theory.
