Another perplexing thing astronomers have observed recently is that stuff in the universe seems to be picking up speed rather than slowing down. Stuff shouldn't be doing that if the BBT is correct.

Michio Kaku says that things like galaxies are actually picking up speed with relation to one another and are moving further apart. If anybody knows about this kind of stuff, Michio Kaku does. He says that if things continue the way they seem to be going, eventually we will see fewer and fewer stars in the sky because they will all be getting just too far away. And then eventually after that, we will be completely alone in space with no other stuff in sight out there at all.

I've noticed that everything moves in cycles, so I'm thinking that this thing we think of as "everything" probably did start out as something very small ("start out" in the sense that at some point it was very small before it started doing something else), and now it's on its way to becoming something very big, and at some point it will turn around and become something very small again. But I've also noticed that even things that seem real predictable often start doing wacky stuff at some point or another. Probably just to fuck up the minds of Earthling scientists.
