close.   Nebraska is one of two states that can split their electoral votes, so Obama has a chance to win 1 electoral vote from Nebraska.  I voted Democratic
all the way!  I&#39;m sick of 8 years of Repugnicans!     ]]>

Talked with a guy last night who was a Stevens fan, when I pointed out that he was likely to end up in prison, his response was, `Nope, he&#39;ll get a
(presidential) pardon&#39;. Guy supported Stevens mostly because of the `many years of experience&#39; and &#39;connections and understandings that a freshman
would not have or know&#39; type arguments. ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Mark Begich has overtaken Ted Stevens in the balloting, as early votes and absentee votes are being counted. He lead at the end of yesterday by THREE -- count
them, one two three -- votes. He now has a &quot;comfortable&quot; lead in the three digits. Unless there&#39;s something about the ballot that were just
counted that makes them different from those yet to be counted (Anchorage goes first?), this strikes me as an irreversible trend in the direction of Begich.
